America’s Prayer Line is operated by Practice Weekend. People may call or text 1-877-417-7729 to share prayer requests and receive prayer-related responses. Messages may be sent at any time, but responses are not guaranteed to be immediate. The line is not represented as a 24/7 staffed service.

Conversational SMS consent

By texting 1-877-417-7729, you consent to receive conversational SMS replies from Practice Weekend concerning your prayer request. Message frequency varies according to the conversation. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of participating in Practice Weekend.

Stopping or getting help

Reply STOP to stop receiving text messages. Reply START to resume after opting out. Reply HELP for help, call 1-877-417-7729 or use our contact page.

Privacy and public sharing

Prayer requests are handled according to our Privacy Policy. Sending a request does not give Practice Weekend permission to publish your name, story, recording or message. Public sharing requires separate, explicit permission.

Not an emergency or professional service

America’s Prayer Line is a Christian prayer service, not an emergency response, medical, mental-health, legal or financial advisory service. If you are in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service.

Appropriate use

Do not use the service to threaten, harass, impersonate others, send unlawful material or transmit passwords, payment information or unnecessary sensitive records.

Availability and changes

Practice Weekend may change, pause or discontinue parts of the service and may update these terms as the service develops. The current version will remain published on this page.
