Editorial standards
Clarity over certainty.
Our articles aim to distinguish biblical teaching, practical experience and opinion instead of blending them into unsupported claims.
Who creates the content
Every article identifies its author or publishing team. A “Practice Weekend” byline means the material is organizational work from the Practice Weekend editorial team. Named authors and reviewers must use accurate biographies and credentials.
How articles are prepared
Biblical interpretations should name the passages being discussed. Other factual claims should use clear, reliable sources. Publication dates, meaningful updates and editorial status should be visible to readers.
Experience and interpretation
First-hand experience should be attributed to the person who had it. Articles should distinguish what Scripture states, how the author interprets it and what the author has personally practised or observed.
Sources and translations
Quoted Scripture should identify its translation. Supporting references should be listed clearly enough for readers to inspect them rather than being presented as invisible authority.
Why we publish
We publish to help Christians understand and practise fasting carefully—not to manufacture search traffic, exaggerate spiritual promises or pressure people into extreme fasting.
Corrections
Material errors should be corrected promptly. Meaningful revisions should show an updated date and a short explanation of what changed. Questions and correction requests can be raised through the contact page.
Conflicts and promotion
Commercial relationships, sponsorships or affiliate interests should be clearly disclosed. Practice Weekend does not currently charge participation fees or request payment information through its registration form.
